  • Q1. Who are you, Quasarsoft Systems?

    Based in the Sutherland Shire, Quasarsoft Systems is an IT MSP (Managed Services Provider) for SMBs (small-to-medium businesses), in operation since 2001. As a SMB ourselves, we understand the various challenges faced by SMBs in running a cost-effective yet profitable business.

    We can design, build and maintain all aspects of your IT infrastructure, whether it is In-House, or as part of a hosted solution. We can create an IT Support Plan suitable to your budget and requirements.

    Our Technical Director has over 20 years experience in designing and implementing IT Solutions for SMBs. Our System Engineers and HelpDesk Analysts are also highly qualified and experienced in IT Management and Support Services.

    Q2. Who are your clients?

    Our client base consists of SMBs from diverse industries such as Building, Financial Services, Hospitality, Manufacturing and more, some with offices all over Australia.     Q3. Why are you different compared to other IT Service Providers or MSPs?

Our Technical Support main line is staffed by our HelpDesk Analysts who can provide Remote Support to you instantly. All clients are encouraged to log support calls and requests through our on-line HelpDesk system which is accessible from our main website.

    We are Fast and Responsive to all your support calls which are logged into our HelpDesk ticketing system. Our HelpDesk Team of Analysts and System Engineers ensures all calls are responded to and resolved quickly to minimise further interruptions to your business.

    We are always in Regular Communication with our clients on the need to upgrade any aspects of their IT Infrastructure. We ensure none of our clients are being left out in any technology upgrade (including regular ad-hoc clients which are not on our Support Plan).

    Q4. We are going through a major Microsoft OS or platform upgrade. Can you help?

    Yes we can. We are a Microsoft Small Business Specialist and a member of the Microsoft Partner Network, and we have managed major projects involving upgrades from older versions of Microsoft SBS to the latest version of Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange.

    Q5. We need to upgrade our IT Infrastructure. This may include the option of virtualisation and switching to VoIP. Can you help?

    Yes we can. We can design your IT Infrastructure (including servers, network,desktops and voice systems). Some of our clients are already enjoying the efficiency and benefits of Virtualisation, and low running cost as a result of implementing a VoIP solution for their voice system.

    Q6. Do you sell hardware/software?

    Yes we do. We can supply all your IT Hardware and Software needs (including software and hosting licenses).

    Q7. How much does your fixed price IT Support Plan cost?

    Prices start from a few hundred dollars depending on the size of your business and the number of employees.

    Q8. I don’t think I’ll need to ring your HelpDesk often for Remote Support, but I do need some sort of IT Maintenance in place for my business. Can you help?

    Yes, we can! We can tailor an IT Support Plan to your budget and requirements. We can provide a Basic IT Support Plan at a reduced price to cover only the basic essentials which normally include all of the services in a regular Support Plan excluding Unlimited Helpdesk Support. While on a basic IT Support Plan, you will still enjoy a discounted price for any purchases and on-site IT Services.

    Q9. We may not need a fixed price IT Support Plan. Do you provide services to Ad-Hoc (Pay-As-You-Go) clients?

    Yes we do. We understand not all businesses require a Fixed IT Support Plan. We have many clients whom we service regularly on an Ad-Hoc Basis. You ring, We’ll come to You!

    Q10. What are your Call-Out fee charges?

    No call-out fee charges for clients on IT Support Plans, as long as you’re within the Sydney metropolitan area.

    Q11. Do you service home users?

    We service the homes of our existing commercial clients (and their families, relatives and friends) who generally require remote access to the company server or on a private basis. We generally do not service private home users outside of our commercial client base. If you are a home user (non-business), you can contact your local IT company to service your home equipment. They’ll be more than happy to service you.
